What is a Transparent OLED Sliding Screen?

A see-through display that moves, and reveals the real object behind it.

A transparent OLED sliding screen is a 55-inch see-through display mounted on a motorised track. Also known as a TOLED sliding screen, it plays digital visuals directly on transparent glass while the real product or scene behind it stays fully visible. As the screen glides across a stage or display case, graphics, text and animation appear to float in mid-air over physical objects.

Because the content is synchronised to the screen's exact position, every stage of the slide can trigger a new beat in the story, a product unveiling, a feature callout, a brand animation. It turns a static display case into moving, interactive theatre.

Unlike a transparent LCD, which needs a backlit enclosure and reads noticeably dimmer, a transparent OLED screen emits its own light from every pixel. Blacks go genuinely clear, colour holds, and the illusion that the content is floating in open air actually survives contact with an audience.

In short: it is one of the most premium ways to launch a product, tell a brand story, or anchor an experience centre, and it reliably produces the "how did they do that?" moment people stop, watch, and film.

What is a transparent OLED sliding screen?

A transparent OLED sliding screen is a 55-inch see-through display mounted on a motorised track. As the screen slides, digital content plays on the transparent glass while the real object behind it stays visible, creating a layered reveal where graphics appear to float over physical products.

Is TOLED the same as transparent OLED?

Yes. TOLED is simply the industry abbreviation for Transparent OLED — it is the same display technology, not a different one. Manufacturers use both terms for the same 55-inch transparent signage panel, so a TOLED sliding screen and a transparent OLED sliding screen are the same system.

What is the difference between transparent OLED and transparent LCD?

A transparent OLED display is self-emissive, every pixel makes its own light, so it needs no backlight, blacks read as genuinely clear glass, and the floating-content effect holds up. A transparent LCD needs a lit enclosure behind it, looks dimmer and greyer, and the illusion breaks down. OLED costs more and looks materially better.

Do you provide setup and on-site support?

Yes. Our team handles delivery, installation, calibration and on-site technical support throughout your event, so everything runs smoothly from start to finish.

Which countries do you deliver to?

We are based in Dubai and deliver across the GCC, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman and Bahrain, for exhibitions, corporate events, experience centres, science centres and permanent installations.

Is it available for rent or only for purchase?

Both. Power offers the transparent OLED sliding screen for short-term event rental and for permanent installation. Rentals include delivery, installation, calibration and on-site technical support; permanent installs include structural design, commissioning, remote monitoring and ongoing maintenance.

What content software does it support?

The system works with industry-standard creative tools including Unity, TouchDesigner and Notch, so content is fully custom, from simple animations to complex interactive experiences.

Can I see the real product through the screen?

Yes. The transparent OLED panel has a see-through rate of roughly 38–45%, so physical objects placed behind it stay clearly visible while digital visuals layer on top. That contrast is exactly what makes the reveal effect land.
