At COP28, the world's most important climate summit, We partnered with DP World to educate visitors and guests on their net zero strategies across two landmark venues: Madinat Jumeirah and Expo City Dubai. Three distinct interactive digital activations brought DP World's sustainability commitments to life: a LiDAR-powered Object Recognition Table for Coral Vita, a touch-based sustainability app spanning tea, coffee, orange juice and water industries, and a five-QR-code 'Our Journey to Net Zero' shipping experience.

COP28 brought together world leaders, policymakers, industry executives, and climate advocates at Expo City Dubai, the most scrutinised climate summit in history. DP World needed to communicate their net zero strategies not just as corporate commitments, but as tangible, understandable, and personally relevant actions. The challenge was to translate complex sustainability data, spanning coral reef restoration, global supply chain carbon reduction, and food and water industry sustainability practices, into experiences that visitors could genuinely engage with and take meaning from, across two separate venues simultaneously.
Each of the three activations required a different approach: the Coral Vita Object Recognition Table needed to make marine science tactile and explorable; the sustainability app needed to connect everyday consumer products, tea, coffee, orange juice, water, to the global supply chain and transportation decisions that determine their carbon footprint; and the 'Our Journey to Net Zero' QR experience needed to tell DP World's shipping decarbonisation story across five distinct chapters, in a format that worked in a busy, high-footfall exhibition environment.
“At COP28, every conversation matters. Power Interactive helped us make ours interactive turning our net zero commitments into experiences that visitors could touch, explore, and take with them.”

Across two venues and three distinct interactive activations, Power Interactive helped DP World make their net zero strategy one of the most engaging and talked-about presences at COP28. The Coral Vita Object Recognition Table gave visitors a genuinely novel way to engage with marine conservation science making reef restoration feel immediate and personal. The sustainability industry app connected everyday consumer choices to global supply chain decisions in a way that resonated with a COP28 audience already primed to think about the climate impact of trade and transportation.
The 'Our Journey to Net Zero' QR experience gave DP World's shipping decarbonisation story a format perfectly suited to the COP28 environment five self-contained chapters, accessible on personal devices, that visitors could explore at their own pace and share beyond the event. Together, the three activations demonstrated that the most effective way to communicate a corporate sustainability commitment at the world's most important climate summit is not to tell people about it but to let them experience it.
