Experiences that react to touch, movement, physical objects and choices: LiDAR-tracked walls and floors, object recognition tables, body-tracking mirrors, gamified challenges and touch-and-select dome journeys. Designed so the next action feels obvious and every visitor becomes a participant.

An interactive installation is a physical experience whose content changes in response to the people using it, through touch, gesture, movement, physical objects, sound or choices made on a screen. Interactive content is the visual and game logic behind it, usually built in a real-time engine rather than as a fixed video.
The value is participation. A visitor who chooses, moves or places an object is far more likely to stay, understand and remember than one who watches. The design challenge is making the interaction obvious within seconds on a busy exhibition floor, and robust enough to run every day in a permanent space.
We design the sensing, the content and the software together, and install and support them on site. See our interactive LED wall and interactive projection wall concepts, and our interactive event technology service.
We have built interactive installations for climate summits, luxury retail, festivals and permanent experience centres. A few examples:

A LiDAR-powered object recognition table for the Coral Vita reef restoration initiative, and a touch application connecting tea, coffee, juice and water supply chains to carbon emissions.
A 5 x 2.5 metre LED wall with real-time 3D body tracking that removed the background and wrapped each visitor in festival visuals, switching to promotional content when no one was in frame. Three units ran across four locations.

LiDAR-powered floor and wall interactives that let visitors explore Yas Island's attractions by moving through the space, alongside a directional-speaker touchscreen showcase for Al Ain and Al Dhafra.

A 3-metre open dome triggered from a touchscreen with six country journeys, configured to run continuously across both summit days without an operator.
What we have learned: the best interaction needs almost no explanation. We prototype the mechanic before full production, design an idle or promotional mode for when nobody is playing, and stress-test for footfall, because an interactive that fails at peak time is worse than a screen that never asked anyone to touch it.

| Interaction | Typical sensing | Typical canvas |
|---|---|---|
| Touch | Capacitive or infrared touch frames | Touchscreens, kiosks, transparent displays, tables |
| Gesture & body | Depth cameras and 3D body tracking | LED walls, mirrors, immersive rooms |
| Walk & step | LiDAR or floor sensors | Floor projection, interactive floors and walls |
| Object placement | Computer vision or tagged objects | Object recognition tables |
| Select & trigger | Tablet or console interface | Domes, LED walls, holographic displays |
| Physical play | Custom controllers, buttons and steppers | Game screens and leaderboards |
| Specification | Detail |
|---|---|
| Content engine | Real-time engines such as Unity, with custom logic per experience |
| Sensing | LiDAR, depth cameras, touch frames, computer vision or custom controllers |
| Multi-user | Designed for single or multiple simultaneous users depending on the format |
| Idle mode | Attract or promotional content when no visitor is present |
| Data | Optional leaderboards, data capture and engagement analytics |
| Languages | Arabic and English interfaces |
| Operation | Temporary event runs or permanent daily operation with remote support |
| Testing | On-site calibration and load testing before opening |

Every example on this page is an installation our own team designed, produced and installed. Here is what stands behind it.
Everything above comes from projects we designed, produced and installed ourselves, not from manufacturer brochures. Power Interactive has delivered more than 800 projects since 2018 across the UAE, Saudi Arabia and the GCC, a milestone featured in Khaleej Times in September 2026, for clients including Atlantis The Royal, Visa Arabia, PwC Middle East, Al Jalila Foundation, Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve and Emaar.
Client names appear only where the project is already public in our case studies. We do not publish fixed prices or timelines here, because both depend on your screen, space and content; we give ranges after a survey, in writing. We describe our content as professional production, and we will tell you when a simpler or smaller solution is the better answer.
800 gives us a lot of perspective on what makes an experience actually work.
