Maintenance & Lifecycle Support for Permanent AV Installations

We keep the permanent installations we build working long after opening day. Our Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) cover technical support for the interactive installations, Professional AV systems, media playback, automation and show control we deliver, with remote monitoring, remote assistance and on-site attendance as agreed in each contract.

We support museums, experience centres, visitor attractions and cultural and government environments across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar and Kuwait, with response commitments of 24 or 48 hours set out in each contract.

Discuss a support plan

A permanent installation runs every day for years, usually with no engineer in the building. When something fails, visitors notice first, and without an agreed support route the fix waits for a quotation, a purchase order and a free technician.

Handover is the start of operations, not the end of the project. Our maintenance and lifecycle support gives you a clear route for technical help, agreed response times and a team that already knows the system, because we built it.

Support for Every Layer of a Permanent Installation

Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC)

Our AMC covers labour and software support for the solutions we deliver, within the agreed contract scope. That can include interactive installations, Professional AV systems, media playback, automation and show control. Each contract sets the systems covered, the response commitment and how support is delivered.

Remote Monitoring & Remote Assistance

Where the system is connected and access is authorised, we monitor supported systems for operational issues and investigate reported problems remotely. Many faults can be diagnosed, and some resolved, without anyone travelling to site. Monitoring coverage is defined in each contract.

On-Site Attendance Across the GCC

Some faults need hands on the equipment. Our engineers attend installations in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar and Kuwait to diagnose issues, replace components and restore the experience, within the scope and response times agreed for that location.

Spare Parts Planning

Specialist AV components can take weeks to reach the region. We help you decide which spares to hold, so replacement hardware is on hand when it is needed. Spares are purchased by the client in advance or supplied at an additional charge.

Upgrades, Renewal & Redevelopment

Over a long life, installations need more than maintenance. We plan and deliver new functionality, substantial upgrades and redevelopment as separate projects, so your space can evolve without being rebuilt. If your installation was built by another supplier, we can assess it and propose an improved solution using our own software, reusing hardware where it is suitable.

Support From the Team That Built It

Maintenance works best when the people answering the call know every component, every cable and every line of code. That is the basis of every contract we sign.

We Support What We Build

Our AMCs cover Power-delivered solutions, so the team supporting your installation designed, programmed and installed it. No time is lost learning someone else's system.

Software and Hardware in One Contract

The interactive software, the show control and the AV equipment are supported by one team, under one contract. There is no debate about whose fault a fault is.

Clear Commitments, Stated Plainly

Response commitments of 24 or 48 hours are written into each contract. We are clear that these are response times, not repair times, and we do not offer blanket uptime promises we cannot control.

On-Site Coverage in Five Countries

Our engineers cover the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar and Kuwait, so regional destinations get the same standard of support as projects in Dubai.

What Supporting a Permanent Installation Actually Involves

Two installations we designed, built and now support under annual maintenance contracts show why we only maintain what we build.

What this has taught us: in a permanent installation, the screen or fixture is rarely the hardest part to support. The integration between software, control and hardware is, and it is far quicker to diagnose when the people answering the call wrote it.

A Support Plan Agreed Before You Need It

The best time to plan support is at handover, while the system is fresh and the team is still on site. Every contract follows the same five stages.

Agree the Scope

We define the systems covered, response commitments, monitoring and on-site arrangements for your location.

Plan Spares and Access

We identify critical components to hold and set up authorised remote access where the system allows.

Monitor and Maintain

We check supported systems remotely and carry out maintenance as agreed in the contract.

Respond and Resolve

Reported issues are investigated remotely first, with on-site attendance when physical work is needed.

Review and Plan Ahead

We advise on ageing components and upgrades, so replacement is planned rather than forced by a failure.

Trusted to Keep Landmark Installations Running

We support permanent installations for hospitality landmarks, foundations and public-facing destinations that cannot afford to go dark.

Why Lifecycle Support Now Shapes Permanent Projects From Day One

Museums, experience centres and attractions in the GCC are being briefed for ten years of operation, not one opening night. That changes when support is planned and what it has to cover.

Support Is Now Part of the Brief

Operators increasingly ask at tender stage how a space will be supported, by whom and on what terms, because ownership costs run for years after the build budget is spent.

Remote Monitoring Has Changed Response

Connected systems can report faults before visitors find them, and many issues can be diagnosed without a site visit. That shortens downtime and changes the economics of supporting several venues.

Heat and Dust Shorten Equipment Life in the Gulf

Equipment here runs hotter and dustier than its rating assumes. Regular cleaning, checks and attention to ventilation are what keep projectors, LED displays and processing reliable.

Spare Parts Lead Times Are a Planning Issue

Specialist AV components often take weeks to import. Holding critical spares locally is frequently cheaper than the downtime of waiting for them.

Obsolescence Is Planned, Not Discovered

Over a ten-year life, some components will be discontinued. Planning replacement ahead turns a crisis into a budget line.

Software and Content Need Care Too

A permanent installation depends on stable software and current content as much as working hardware. Support now covers the code and the experience, not only the equipment.

Handover is the beginning of operations, not the end of the project. The installations that still feel right in year five are the ones that were planned for maintenance, monitoring and change from the first drawing.

What does an AV annual maintenance contract cover?

Our AMC covers labour and software support for the installations we deliver, within the agreed scope. That can include interactive installations, Professional AV systems, media playback, automation and show control, with remote monitoring, remote assistance and on-site attendance as set out in the contract. Our guide to permanent installation vs event AV explains what a support agreement should actually contain.

Is your AMC a comprehensive contract that includes parts?

No. Our standard AMC covers labour and software support, not replacement hardware. Replacement parts come from spares you purchase in advance or are supplied at an additional charge. Holding critical spares reduces delays.

How quickly do you respond to a fault?

Our standard response commitments are 24 or 48 hours, as specified in each contract. These are response times, not guaranteed repair times. Resolution depends on the fault, site access, whether attendance is needed and parts availability.

Do you guarantee uptime?

No. We do not offer a blanket uptime guarantee across all systems. Instead, each contract states clear response commitments, the systems covered and how support is delivered.

Do you offer remote monitoring?

Yes, according to the agreed AMC. We proactively monitor supported, connected systems and provide remote assistance where technically possible. This depends on suitable connectivity and authorised access, and some faults still need an on-site visit.

Do you maintain installations built by other companies?

We maintain solutions built by Power Interactive. For another supplier's installation, we can assess it, explain its limitations and propose a replacement or improved solution built with our own software, reusing existing hardware where it is suitable and compatible. See how we approach custom application development.

Which countries do you cover for on-site maintenance?

The UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar and Kuwait. Scope, remote support, on-site attendance and response commitments are agreed for each contract and location.

Are upgrades and new features included in the AMC?

No. The AMC maintains the existing system. New functionality, substantial upgrades and redevelopment are scoped and agreed separately, so you always know what you are paying for.

How much does an AMC cost?

It depends on the systems covered, the response commitment, the location and the level of monitoring and attendance. We quote each contract after reviewing the installation. Our guide to immersive experience costs in Dubai and Saudi Arabia explains how support fits into the overall budget.
