Clear answers to the questions museums, experience centres, attractions and brands ask us most: who we are, what we build, how projects run, what shapes a budget, and how we keep installations running long after opening.
Power Interactive designs, delivers and supports permanent immersive environments, experiential technology and Professional AV systems for museums, experience centres, visitor attractions, theme parks and large public-facing environments across the UAE, Saudi Arabia and the GCC. We combine AV integration with the parts we build in-house: interactive software, immersive content, show control, AI-powered experiences and robotics. We also deliver exhibitions and brand activations.
Yes. Our case studies cover permanent and temporary projects, including the BEEAH Khalid Bin Sultan City Interactive Center, the lighting installations at Atlantis The Royal, a 14m immersive dome wellness experience, and synchronised screen content across a 400 sqm stand at Arabian Travel Market.
We cover the full chain from concept to long-term support: permanent interactive installations, Pro AV solutions, projection mapping, kinetic and robotic installations, AR, VR and MR experiences, content and app development, exhibition technology, interactive event technology and experiential marketing.
Every project moves through four stages: Discovery (goals, audience, space and constraints), Strategy (visitor journey, technology approach and budget), Design & Build (content, software, engineering and installation) and Launch & Support (testing, training, handover and ongoing support).
There is no fixed price, because cost depends on scope rather than floor area. The main drivers are display technology, the volume of custom content, interactive software, whether the installation is permanent or temporary, and the level of support after opening. Our guide to immersive experience costs in Dubai and Saudi Arabia explains where budgets go.
We start from what visitors should feel, do and remember, and from how the operator will run the space every day. The technology is chosen last, to serve those goals, not the other way round.
Yes. For a permanent installation, handover is the start of operations, not the end of the project. Our maintenance and lifecycle support keeps hardware, software and content performing as designed for years after opening.
We were founded in 2018 and are based in Dubai, at G02/G03, Makateb 3, Dubai Production City. Clients are welcome to visit our office by appointment.
Our main focus is permanent, visitor-facing environments: museums and cultural spaces, experience centres, visitor and customer experience centres, theme parks, family entertainment centres and attractions, immersive destinations, and government and tourism environments. We also deliver exhibition stands and brand activations.
Yes. Our in-house team produces 3D, motion graphics, 2D animation, AR and VR content and interactive applications. Because content and hardware are planned together, the content is made for the actual screens, resolutions and visitor flow of the space.
As early as possible, ideally before the architecture, interiors and MEP are fixed. When technology arrives late, the space often lacks the power, cooling, structural support or maintenance access the experience needs, and the design has to be compromised.
Because budgets follow the experience, not the square metres. A room with one LED wall and looping content costs far less than a room of the same size with multi-projection, sensor-based interaction, custom software and content that changes by season.
By designing it so parts can change without rebuilding the whole: modular hardware that can be replaced, a content management system, open interfaces to other systems, and remote management. Content, software and interaction methods can then evolve as visitor expectations change.
A good AMC covers preventive maintenance visits, remote monitoring, agreed response times, software updates, spare parts, content updates where needed, and regular reports on system health. We tailor the scope to how often the space operates and how critical uptime is.
We deliver projects across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman and the wider GCC. Our team manages design, installation and support across the region, including projects in Riyadh.
Both, but they are engineered differently. A permanent installation must run every day for years, so we plan for cooling, access, monitoring, content updates and maintenance from day one. A temporary activation is built for fast setup, a short run and a clean breakdown.
Yes. We build interactive software for immersive and experiential installations, including touch and sensor-based interactives, content management systems, show control and integrations with data and other systems. We write it so clients can update content without calling a developer each time.
A short brief is enough to begin: what you want visitors to feel and do, who they are, the space (drawings if available), your timeline, an indicative budget range and who will operate the space after opening. We help shape the rest during Discovery.
Content production, interactive software, integration and show control, infrastructure such as cooling and networking, training, documentation, spare parts and an annual maintenance contract. Leaving these out is one of the most common reasons installations struggle after opening.
Yes, when it is planned from the start. We build content management into permanent installations so your team can change content, languages and seasonal campaigns without replacing hardware or calling a developer.
Yes, where the system is designed for it. Remote monitoring lets us see faults early, restart devices and push fixes, often before your staff or visitors notice a problem.
More than 800 projects since 2018, covering permanent installations, experience centres, exhibitions and brand activations. Clients include government entities, developers, hospitality groups and global brands such as Atlantis The Royal, BEEAH, DEWA, Emaar, PwC and Al Jalila Foundation.
It depends on scope and on the construction programme around it. A brand activation can often be delivered in a few weeks. A permanent experience centre or museum usually runs over several months, alongside architecture, interiors and MEP work.
It is the infrastructure visitors never see: networking, media servers, processing, show control, sensors, audio, cooling, racks and monitoring. When it is designed well, the experience starts reliably every morning and problems are caught before visitors notice them.
Yes. We regularly price against specifications and BOQs. Where we see risks in the specification, such as missing infrastructure or no plan for content updates, we flag them in our response.
Yes. After understanding the brief, we provide a proposal that breaks down hardware, content, software, installation and support, so you can see where the budget goes and adjust scope where needed.
Yes, where it adds real value, such as conversational guides, personalisation, real-time content and sign language avatars. We also advise when a simpler, conventional interaction will work better for visitors and be easier to maintain.
Yes. We train your staff to start up, shut down and run the experience day to day, handle common issues and update content, and we hand over clear documentation.
Power Interactive was founded and is led by Fahad Javaid, Founder & CEO. The wider team is organised around company leadership and strategy, technical and systems leadership, project delivery and operations, creative and content development, software and interactive development, and business development.
Yes. We usually start with a technical audit of the hardware, software, content and documentation already in place. From there we recommend what to keep, what to replace and how to make the space easier to update in future.
Yes. We deliver projection mapping on buildings, objects and interiors, and immersive dome experiences. As the official Fulldome.pro partner in Dubai, we supply dome structures while Fulldome.pro delivers the projection, media server, calibration and audio on joint projects.
Yes. Each project has a dedicated project manager who coordinates our creative, software and technical teams and keeps you updated at every milestone.
Yes. If the budget is fixed, we recommend where to invest for the biggest visitor impact, and which elements can be phased in later without rebuilding.
We design for throughput and durability: intuitive interactions that need no instructions, short reset times, robust hardware, accessibility, and software that recovers on its own. We also plan for the ways real visitors misuse exhibits.
Yes. We start with an audit to understand the hardware, software and documentation, then propose a support plan and any upgrades needed to make the system reliable.
On most projects, content, software and AV come from separate suppliers, and problems appear where their work meets. We cover concept, content, software, AV integration and long-term support within one team. That means the experience is designed to work as a whole, and one company stays accountable after opening.
Yes. We regularly work alongside design studios, fit-out contractors and creative agencies in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and internationally, either as the technology partner or as a specialist subcontractor.
Yes. We design kinetic and robotic installations that combine movement, engineering and storytelling, for both permanent spaces and events.
Changes are normal, especially on long builds. We assess each change for its impact on time, budget and the rest of the system, agree it with you in writing, and then update the plan.
Payments are milestone-based and set out clearly in the proposal, typically linked to project start, delivery stages and handover.
Yes. Heat, dust and long operating hours are part of every design decision, from ventilation and cooling to hardware selection and maintenance access, especially for outdoor or semi-outdoor installations.
We plan for it. We track the lifecycle of key components, keep you informed when products are discontinued, and recommend replacements that fit the existing system, so upgrades happen on your schedule rather than after a failure.
We work with more than 15 technology partners, including ORA Vision, Fulldome.pro (we are their official partner in Dubai), Interactive Scape, Looking Glass Factory, Brelyon, Tilt Five, MYVRS and Blit Studio. Partnerships give us early access and direct support, but every project's hardware is chosen for what the space and its visitors need.
Yes. We are happy to sign an NDA before receiving project details, and we only publish work once the client has approved it.
Yes. Our tech concepts include interactive LED walls, an interactive LED sphere, a 3D holobox, an immersive LED room, a VR simulator and interactive projection walls. They can be adapted to a brand and deployed quickly.
Yes. Systems, software and content are tested before handover, and permanent projects include a commissioning period on site so issues are resolved before visitors arrive.
Yes. Through partners such as Looking Glass Factory, Brelyon and ORA Vision, and our own AR, VR and MR development, we test new technology in our Dubai space before recommending it for a client project.
Equipment is covered by manufacturer warranties, and our workmanship and software are covered for a defined period after handover. Warranty terms are set out in each proposal and can be extended through an AMC.
