What is an AI-powered experience?

An AI-powered experience is a physical installation that uses artificial intelligence to understand and respond to visitors, for example by answering questions in natural language, recognising what a visitor is doing, personalising the content they see or generating a response from live information. Instead of fixed logic, where touching button A plays content A, the experience adapts to each person.

‍

In practice, AI is a layer on top of the same foundations as any good installation: clear content, reliable hardware and a defined purpose. An AI guide is only as good as the knowledge it is given, so we build it on a curated, approved knowledge base for your organisation, with guardrails for accuracy and tone.

‍

We combine AI with holographic displays, avatars, touchscreens, sensors and immersive spaces, and we design the content and the conversation together. Read more in our article on how AI is changing physical experiences.

‍

How we build AI-powered experiences

  1. Define the role of AI: Decide what the AI should do, what it must never do, and how success is measured.
  2. Build the knowledge base: Curate and approve the content the AI can draw from, in Arabic and English.
  3. Design the character and interface: Design the presenter, avatar or interface and how visitors talk to it.
  4. Integrate and safeguard: Connect AI services to displays and sensors, with guardrails and privacy controls.
  5. Test, launch and refine: Test with real users, monitor answers and keep the knowledge base current.

‍

What we have learned building AI-powered experiences

We have deployed AI in permanent experience centres and at major exhibitions. A few examples:

‍

‍

What we have learned: AI is only as good as what it is allowed to know. Every assistant we build works from a curated, client-approved knowledge base with clear boundaries, and is tested with real questions before launch. We use AI where it genuinely helps visitors, and we say so plainly when a simpler interaction would do the job better.

Why trust this page

Written from projects we delivered, not from brochures

Every example on this page is an installation our own team designed, produced and installed. Here is what stands behind it.

800+projects delivered

GCCUAE, Saudi Arabia and the wider region

✓Experience

Everything above comes from projects we designed, produced and installed ourselves, not from manufacturer brochures. Power Interactive has delivered more than 800 projects since 2018 across the UAE, Saudi Arabia and the GCC, a milestone featured in Khaleej Times in September 2026, for clients including Atlantis The Royal, Visa Arabia, PwC Middle East, Al Jalila Foundation, Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve and Emaar.

◎Transparency

Client names appear only where the project is already public in our case studies. We do not publish fixed prices or timelines here, because both depend on your screen, space and content; we give ranges after a survey, in writing. We describe our content as professional production, and we will tell you when a simpler or smaller solution is the better answer.

800 gives us a lot of perspective on what makes an experience actually work.

What is an AI holographic guide?

An AI holographic guide is a life-size presenter shown on a holographic display that visitors can speak to or ask questions through a touchscreen. It answers using a curated knowledge base, making information accessible and engaging without staff on hand at every moment.

How do you stop an AI assistant giving wrong answers?

By limiting it to a curated, client-approved knowledge base, setting clear boundaries on what it can discuss, testing it with real questions before launch and reviewing answers after launch. AI in a public space should always have guardrails.

Can AI experiences work in Arabic and English?

Yes. We design AI experiences for Arabic and English audiences, including the knowledge base, the voice or text interface and the on-screen content.

Can AI be added to an existing experience centre?

Often, yes, if the existing software can connect to new services and the content is structured. Where content was hard-coded, some redevelopment may be needed. We assess the current system before recommending an approach.

What data does an AI experience collect?

Only what the experience needs and the client approves. We design consent-first interactions and configurable data retention to match the client's privacy policies and local regulations.

Is AI suitable for temporary exhibitions as well as permanent spaces?

Yes. AI guides and personalised experiences have been deployed at exhibitions as well as in permanent experience centres. Permanent spaces benefit most, because the knowledge base can keep growing over time.

Ready to add intelligence to your space?

Tell us what visitors ask, what they need and where the experience lives. We will design an AI experience that is useful, accurate and on-brand.
