A kinetic wall is a wall whose surface physically moves. The Kinetic Petal Wall is made of square 500 mm modules set in a frame. Each module has four triangular petals that open outward from a flat square into a pyramid. Modules run together in programmed patterns, while light or media behind the petals shines through as they open.

Watch the Kinetic Petal Wall open, close and draw patterns across its modules, with light and lasers firing from behind the petals.
A kinetic wall turns a surface into a moving feature. The Kinetic Petal Wall can run programmed motion, respond to visitors, and reveal light, lasers or media from behind its petals.

Modules open and close in waves, ripples and patterns, timed to your brand story or music.

The wall can react to the movement of people in front of it, so visitors become part of the show.

Light behind the petals shines through as they open. Laser effects fire out from the modules.

Media set behind the wall appears as the petals open, combining physical motion with video.
The wall is modular, so it scales to the space. These are the specifications for the standard Petal module.
| Specification | Kinetic Petal Wall |
|---|---|
| Module size | 500 x 500 x 158 mm |
| Moving elements | 4 petals per module |
| Coverage | 4 modules per square metre |
| Power | 240 W per module |
| Finish | Matt or gloss, RAL colour chart |
| Outdoor use | Optional IP65 execution |
| Motion | Programmed or interactive |
| Integration | Can sync with other show systems, subject to project design |
Choose by the space and how far away your audience will be. Smaller walls suit exhibition stands and activations, and larger walls work as a stage backdrop or a hero feature.
| Wall size | Modules | Area | Rated power | Works well for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 3 x 2 m | 24 | 6 sqm | 5.76 kW | Exhibition stands and brand activations |
| 4 x 2.5 m | 40 | 10 sqm | 9.6 kW | Large stands, lobbies and retail |
| 5 x 3 m | 60 | 15 sqm | 14.4 kW | Stage backdrops and launches |
| Custom | By project | By project | By project | Stepped, diamond and other layouts |
Sizes are calculated from the 500 mm module. Power, structure and rigging are confirmed for each venue.
Ask us to size your wall →Kinetic walls can be designed in the size, colour and shape your project needs, so the wall looks built for the space rather than brought in for it.

Matt or gloss in RAL colours. Past installations have also used preserved moss on the petals.

Mirror petals reflect the room and the people in it as the modules open.

Modules can form stepped outlines or rotate 45 degrees into a diamond pattern.
A kinetic wall works anywhere a space needs one feature that people stop for and remember.
Stand out on a show floor where most stands rely on screens. See our exhibition technology.
Reveal a product from behind the petals, with motion timed to the moment.
Use the wall as a moving backdrop for keynotes, ceremonies and live shows.
Give a corporate lobby or showroom a permanent feature that moves.
Draw shoppers to an atrium or a brand space with an installation they want to film.
Combine motion with light and media for interactive exhibits and art concepts.
An LED wall is the better choice for detailed video and text. A kinetic wall is the better choice when you want a physical feature that people stop for. Many projects use both. Learn more about kinetic LED walls.
| Kinetic Wall | LED Wall | |
|---|---|---|
| Surface | Physically moves | Flat, images only |
| Depth | Real depth and shadow | Simulated on screen |
| Best at | Patterns, motion and impact | Detailed video and text |
| Audience effect | A physical object in the room | A familiar screen |
| Used together | Screens can sit behind the petals | Can run behind or beside the wall |
For events, exhibitions and activations. Rental is based on the number of modules and the rental period.
For lobbies, showrooms, retail and visitor centres. The wall is designed around the building.
The Kinetic Petal Wall is made by LYM PRO, a creative technology and production company working since 2011, with more than 3,000 projects and over 100 people.

Talk to our team →A kinetic wall is a wall whose surface physically moves. Motorised elements change position in programmed patterns, so the wall creates depth, shadow and rhythm that a flat screen cannot. Kinetic walls are used on exhibition stands, stages, lobbies and brand spaces.
The wall is built from square 500 mm modules, each with four triangular petals. The petals open outward from a flat square into a pyramid, then close again. Each module can sit at its own opening, which is how waves, shapes and patterns are drawn across the wall.
Power Interactive rents the Kinetic Petal Wall from Dubai for events, launches and exhibitions. We are the official GCC partner of LYM PRO, and our team handles the delivery, installation, operation and dismantling.
Kinetic wall rental depends on the number of modules and the rental period. Delivery, installation, crew and operation are quoted for each project. Send us your wall size, dates and venue for a quote.
The system is modular, with four modules to each square metre. A 3 x 2 m wall uses 24 modules and a 5 x 3 m wall uses 60. Configurations are developed for each project and venue.
Yes. The wall can run programmed motion or respond to the movement of people in front of it. The interactive setup is designed around each project.
The Kinetic Petal Wall has an optional IP65 outdoor execution. Final suitability is confirmed for each venue and its environmental conditions.
Yes. Petals can be produced in matt or gloss using RAL colours, subject to project requirements. The wall can also carry your brand colours and be combined with light or media behind the petals.
Each Petal module is rated at 240 W, so total load depends on the size of the wall. A 24-module wall is rated at 5.76 kW and a 60-module wall at 14.4 kW. Power is confirmed for each configuration.
An LED wall shows images on a flat surface. A kinetic wall moves physically, so it creates real depth and shadow. The two work well together, because screens or media can sit behind the petals and appear as they open.
