A 5 x 2.5 metre LED wall powered by real-time 3D body tracking and kinetic sensor technology — built for MDL Beast's Sound Storm festival. The Energy Mirror captured every move, stripped away the background, and wrapped each visitor in electrifying festival visuals. Three units. Four locations across KSA and UAE. One unforgettable activation.

MDL Beast needed an activation that matched the raw energy of their Sound Storm festival — vibrant, electrifying, and impossible to walk past. The brief was twofold: create a marketing tool that could build anticipation for the festival before the event, and deliver a genuinely thrilling interactive experience for partygoers during it. A single activation had to serve both purposes, across multiple locations in two countries.
The experience needed to feel as big and bold as the festival itself. It had to be visually spectacular in isolation — drawing crowds even without a live audience — while also being deeply personal and interactive when a visitor stepped in front of it. The challenge was to design something that worked as a passive marketing installation and as an immersive live experience simultaneously, at scale, across four different locations.
We didn’t want a screen. We wanted a portal. Something that made every person who stood in front of it feel like they were already inside Sound Storm.

The Energy Mirror didn't just attract attention — it became a destination. At every location, visitors queued to step in front of the installation, drawn by the spectacle of seeing themselves transformed by the festival's visual identity in real time. The dual-mode design ensured the installation was never passive — when no visitor was present, it continued to market the festival to everyone who passed by.
By deploying three units across four locations in KSA and UAE, Power Interactive extended MDL Beast's brand presence far beyond the festival gates — turning the Energy Mirror into a pre-event marketing campaign in its own right. The activation generated significant social media content as visitors shared their Energy Mirror moments, amplifying the festival's reach organically across the region.
