The Ariel Nanopod is a product built on science — four distinct, quantifiable benefits that set it apart in a crowded laundry care market. The challenge for Ariel at their launch event at the Ain Dubai Wheel was making those benefits land with an audience in a festive, high-energy environment where attention is competed for from every direction. A product demonstration or information stand would disappear into the noise. Ariel needed something that would stop families in their tracks and make each benefit genuinely memorable.

Power Interactive was briefed to create an experience that communicated all four top Ariel Nanopod benefits as part of the official launch event — using an approach that was both immersive and entertaining for a mixed audience of adults and children. The creative and technology concept needed to draw its visual and aesthetic language directly from the high-tech theme used in the official Ariel Nanopod promotional film, creating a seamless connection between the advertising campaign audiences had already seen and the live experience they were now stepping into.

The answer was gamification: four unique interactive game concepts, each designed to communicate one Nanopod benefit through play rather than presentation. Delivered across a large LED screen and an interactive transparent display, the activation transformed the Ain Dubai Wheel into a full-sensory Ariel Nanopod showcase — with lights and sound completing an experience that felt as technologically advanced as the product it was promoting.

Telling a family at a launch event that a product has four key benefits is marketing. Letting their child discover each one through a game they don't want to stop playing — that's how a product becomes a household name.

Each of the four games was built around a specific Nanopod benefit, turning product claims into intuitive interactive mechanics that made each feature tangible through direct experience. Designed for all audiences — including children — the games required no instruction and rewarded engagement within seconds. By completing all four, visitors experienced every key Ariel Nanopod benefit firsthand rather than through passive messaging. All four concepts shared a unified visual style inspired by the official Ariel Nanopod campaign film — clean, futuristic, and precise — reinforcing the product’s scientific positioning and making the experience feel like a natural extension of the campaign.

Large LED Screen & Interactive Transparent Display

The activation combined two display technologies: a large LED screen for game visuals, animations, and product messaging, alongside an interactive transparent screen that let visitors — especially children — physically touch and interact with Nanopod content through direct hands-on engagement. The transparent screen became the activation’s signature visual moment, with visitors interacting with glowing interface elements within the green Ariel brand environment. Together, the immersive LED display and tactile transparent screen created a layered, futuristic experience that stood out within the Ain Dubai event space.

Lights, Sound & Full Sensory Integration

Power Interactive designed and integrated a coordinated lighting and sound system that elevated the activation beyond a screen experience into a full environmental showcase. Lighting was programmed to respond to game events and product moments — pulsing, shifting, and intensifying with gameplay to create a sense of drama and technological sophistication. Sound design reinforced each game interaction with audio feedback that matched the high-tech visual language of the activation, creating a complete sensory environment that made every Nanopod benefit feel significant and exciting.
