ADNOC Technical Academy trains the UAE's oil and gas professionals. They needed a way to showcase their facilities, training programs, and industry impact to visitors and prospective students in an engaging way. We designed and delivered the technology, custom content, and creative direction for a fully immersive room. To build this experience, the team gained exclusive access to restricted areas of the academy to capture authentic, real-world training environments that aren't usually open to the public.
ADNOC Technical Academy delivers competency assessments and specialised training programmes across a demanding range of technical disciplines, but the world it operates in is largely invisible to the people who most need to understand it. Prospective trainees, visiting stakeholders, and industry partners were arriving to a guided tour or a presentation, when what the Academy needed was an experience capable of conveying the full breadth of its facilities, programmes, and standards, and the scale of its significance to the region's most strategically vital industry.
The technical challenge was to build that experience from the Academy's own environments rather than generic stock imagery. Restricted areas of the ADNOC Institute had to be captured in full 360-degree spherical detail, stitched and mapped seamlessly onto the room's surfaces through custom projection software, and layered with a holographic storyteller rendered directly into the immersive space, with narration, scene transitions, and chapter progression operating in precise synchronisation throughout every visitor session.

The ADNOC Technical Academy Immersive Room gave the institution a powerful new way to communicate its purpose and its scale. Visitors who would previously have received a guided tour or a presentation now step directly into the world of the Academy, surrounded by its real environments, guided by its story, and left with a genuine sense of what it means to train there. The use of authentic captured spaces rather than generic imagery is what gives the experience its credibility.
The installation demonstrates the capability to design, develop, and deliver complete immersive room environments, fusing real-world spatial data with holographic content, custom projection mapping, and integrated AV into a single synchronised system. By transforming spaces that are otherwise inaccessible to the public into a navigable, narrated experience, the project positions ADNOC Technical Academy as an institution operating at the frontier of both technical training and experiential communication.
